Instructions

  • In a cup soak chia with water
  • In pan sweat onions with butter and cool down
  • Blanch savoy cabbage leaves in boiling salted water for 1 minute and cool down
  • In a mixing bowl mix minced meat with sweated onions, parsley, salt and soaked chia
  • Envelope meat mixture into cabbage leaves and arrange them in a deep pan
  • Add crushed tomatoes and some water in the bottom, season with extra salt to taste
  • Blacken envelope tops with a torch (optional)
  • Add thyme springs to a pan, seal and slow cook at 205 for 3 h 10 min
