Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F
  • Prepare a baking sheet with a rack and parchment paper for bacon weaves
  • Line 3 bacon halves side-by-side. Lift one end of the middle bacon slice
  • And place a fourth bacon half on top of the side pieces and underneath the middle slice. Lay the middle piece back down and lift two side strips of bacon and place a 5th bacon half on top of the middle piece and underneath the sides. Lay the side slices back down and lift the other end of the middle slice and place 6th slice on top of the side pieces and underneath the middle one. Repeat to make seven other weaves.
  • Bake bacon in the oven until crispy, transfer to a paper towel and let cool for a while
  • Preheat a grill pan to a medium-high. Shape minced beef into patties and season
  • Grill burgers until ready to a temp you like.
  • For each burger place bacon weave on the bottom, then spread some wasabi mayo.
  • Top with lettuce, burgers, mayo, tomato and remaining bacon weave.
