Cheese casserole with tomatoes and basil
½ cup of cream cheese
½ cup of 50% cheddar,
5-6 sprigs of basil (only leaves are used)
Salt and spices to taste
Some oil to grease the dish
Chop some tomatoes into circles (the number of circles depends on a diameter), dice the rest of tomatoes.
Chop the basil leaving several pieces for decoration.
Beat the cream cheese with eggs.
Grate the cheddar and add to the egg & cheese mixture.
Grease a pan with oil, put diced tomatoes on the bottom of the pan, top with some basil. Coat with egg & cheese mixture, put tomato circles on it and sprinkle with the rest of basil.
Broil in the oven for 20 minutes for 180С.
Decorate the ready casserole with basil leaves.
