Instructions

  • Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat then add in the butter.
  • Once the butter melts, add in the sausage and fry for a few minutes until it becomes golden brown in color.
  • Once cooked, place the sausage on a paper towel to drain and cool off.
  • Use a sharp chopping knife to chop or crumble the cooked sausage into smaller pieces then add into a medium bowl, set aside.
  • Using a large mixing bowl, add in the grease left over from frying the sausage alongside the rest of the ingredients then mix properly using clean hands or an electric mixer.
  • Place the mixture in the fridge and let set for about15 minutes.
  • Make about 24 balls out of the mixture then roll each in the cooked and crumbled sausage then serve.
  • Note, you can also use bacon for this recipe as a sausage substitute.
