Instructions

  • In a pan melt 1 tbsp of butter and sweat tomato paste, add crushed tomatoes
  • Add 1/2 cup of water, capers, garlic powder and salt to taste, cook for 5 minutes
  • In another pan sweat onions with remaining 2 tbsp of butter and cool down
  • In a mixing bowl combine meat with sweated onions, parsley, salt and remaining water
  • Form meatloaf with wet hands and transfer it to a pan
  • Top with tomato and capers sauce, seal the pan and slow cook at 210 fo 3 h 10 min
  • Add kale leaves to the pan 20 minutes before cooking time’s up
