2 cups shredded lettuce, watercress, and/or greens of choice
¼ cup sliced cucumbers
Fresh dill and thyme to taste
3 ounces of steak
¼ sliced avocado
Mini cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon freshly grated horseradish
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Sea salt and pepper to taste
Start with a bed of butter lettuce, watercress, and cucumbers. Just cut these up into whatever sizes you’d like. Then add some fresh dill and thyme. Fresh herbs make a huge difference.
Topped with 3 ounces of sliced juicy steak. To make the steak, I just seasoned the steak with salt + pepper then cooked in a pan with garlic, thyme and butter until medium.
Add sliced avocado and mini cherry tomatoes.
Add half a medium boiled egg. To make the egg, I boiled it in water for 8.5 minutes.
Then top it with your favorite dressing. I topped with a simple homemade horseradish dressing that I made by mixing 2 tablespoons sour cream, 1 tablespoon fresh grated horseradish, lime juice from half a lime, 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp dill, sea salt + pepper.
Finally, top with some feta cheese and capers to your liking.
