Instructions

  • Preheat your waffle iron.
  • In a bowl, mix almond flour, shredded cheese, scallions/green onions, baby kale, herbs and egg.
  • Mix everything well, then add unsweetened almond or coconut milk to your batter or as needed.
  • Season to taste (salt, pepper, garlic powder, herbs, etc)
  • Cook according to your waffle iron directions or until cooked.
  • Serve up as preferred. We topped this with a poached egg, half an avocado, blueberries and some pecans.
